You can be less productive when you feel overwhelmed at work. Stress is a normal physical response to experiences that make you feel threatened or upset your life balance in some way. You may lose confidence and may become irritable or reserved. This can make you less effective in your job, and make the work seem less rewarding. Do not ignore the signs and symptoms of work stress as they can lead to bigger problems. Physical and emotional health problems can be the result of chronic or intense stress.
